RACE THE TRAIN

How do you create a fun, team building challenge that EVERYONE, regardless of ability, can take part in?

AN INDOOR CYCLING CHALLENGE TO RACE A TRAIN TO ONE OF THEIR EUROPEAN OFFICES

Adobe were looking for a fun and engaging challenge that would support their quarterly fundraising event as well as provide a team building element that would bring together people of all fitness levels and across multiple departments.

TESTIMONIALS

I’ve organised sporting activities at work in the past but, despite promoting them as inclusive events, have always had people tell me they felt they weren’t fit enough to get involved. Njinga’s indoor cycling event was completely different. Reassured by the team element we had many more ‘less fit’ participants than at other events. Everyone I spoke to who took part said they’d thoroughly enjoyed it, and felt the support from teammates and Njinga staff really pushed them to give it their all. I also believe that running indoors made a huge difference for non-participant support. We were able to have people who weren’t riding join us in the room to support colleagues who were taking part, which really created a great atmosphere around the event. Njinga really know how to put on an awesome event, and how to encourage, support and motivate participants of all abilities to give their all to meet the stated team goal. All while maintaining the fun aspect of it. We didn’t quite reach our goal, but we’re already getting questions from staff about when we’ll be running the rematch.
