Push your Boundaries.

Every year we arrange a cycling trip that allows you to push yourself beyond your comfort zone. We call it our Challenge Series.

This isn't four days of non-stop maximum effort; instead, these trips allow you to push yourself on one or two challenging days, then we have the rest of the time to explore, enjoying a more relaxed route, coffee stops, evening celebrations and awards and of course some downtime to relax in the afternoons. It's really our favourite way to see new places.

Trans Pyrenees

A spectacular challenge crossing the Pyrenees from the Mediterranean sea to the Atlantic ocean. A staggering 750km and over 11,000m of climbing in 5 days!

It was a breathtaking week on the bike as we summited some of the most spectacular climbs in the Pyrenees including Col de Port, the legendary Col du Tourmalet and more.

"This tour of the Pyrenees was a really lovely way to enjoy a series of daily cycling challenges with all the hassle taken care of by Team Njinga." Joe Burnie (Completed 3 Njinga challenges)

Les Cingles Ventoux

Challenge No. II and we took on the famous Cinglés Club - climbing Ventoux not once but for many riders, three times in under 24 hours! The 3 routes from Bedoin, Malaucene and Sault saw us average over 135km with a total height gain of 4381m in one day.

An epic challenge for all riders, followed by a few days exploring beautiful Provence, the rolling lavender fields and getting lost in our own impressive chateaux.

"The region was beautiful, the accommodation stunning, and Leigh's cooking amazing as ever. The group was a lovely, fun, and supportive bunch, too. It's the best day I've ever spent on a bike so far. And I can't think of a better bunch of people to have shared it with. In one word: awesome!" Karman Gordon (Completed 2 Njinga challenges)

"Mont Ventoux was an exceptional challenge, but it was great experiencing its epic beauty from my bike alongside my newfound Njinga mates. And, I’m proud to say, I did it. I did it — not once, but twice. I mean it when I say: I couldn’t have done it without the Njinga crew. Their passion, drive, and support got me to the top of that mountain. Twice." Andrew Wynd (Completed 3 Njinga challenges)

Girona Grinder

4 days exploring the Girona countryside with the Challenge day climb up Rocacorba, a 10km cat 1 climb of over 750m and a few other punchy climbs made famous by the pros.

We followed this with a few days climbing around the lakes and exploring the rolling countryside, while still having time to discover the best gelato in Girona. Every ride finished with a swim in the pool and G&T's for sundowners. (We even had time to have a big 40th birthday party for one lucky rider.)

"This is my second trip and I was not disappointed. The location was stunning, the rides beautiful but challenging and a fantastic group of riders. As always Togo and Josh seemed to get that little bit extra out of us all, and I was left feeling invigorated and enthusiastic about my riding. All that riding needs fuel and Leigh provided the most delicious meals for us. Thank you all for a truly memorable trip." Martin Francis (Completed 1 Njinga challenge)

Colossus of Rhodes

Challenge IV took us to the undiscovered cycling destination of Rhodes, where we had 5 days of spectacular cycling.

The challenge day took in a 115km route, where we climbed up to the highest villages on the island passing famous monasteries, national pine forests and olive groves.

The remaining days gave us the opportunity to explore the rest of the stunning island and enjoy coffee and lunch stops along the way. Afternoons were reserved for relaxing by the pool or at the beach and the evenings give us the opportunity to enjoy some local Greek cuisine.

"Really enjoyed the holiday. The Challenge ride was definitely a challenge but super happy I did it. Rhodes is an amazing place to cycle, somewhere I wouldn't have chosen if not for Njinga. Leigh, Togo and Kelly were exceptional hosts (as always), the group were fun and great to be around. Looking forward to the next one!" Ali Housley (Completed 3 Njinga challenges)

"Unlike many commercial cycling operators, the Njinga crew really make you feel like part of the family, which makes for a very relaxed time off the bike." Simon Hathaway (Completed 1 Njinga challenge)
