What to Expect
Each stage comes with it's own tour excitement, expert motivation and coaching from a highly experienced cycling coach. Think fast paced sprints, leg burning climbs and heart pumping intervals as you jostle for the yellow jersey.

You will be able to relive the seven stages through our immersive replay functionality.

If you haven't yet experienced an immersive replay session, now is the perfect time to give it a go! Your performance data will seamlessly integrate into the leaderboard, mimicking the sensation of participating in the session live and offering you the ultimate satisfaction of competing for stage victories.

Challenge Details

The 7 Stages

Stage 1 - Domestique Martyr

30 mins

Flat opening stage with a category 3 climb adding excitement as riders compete for the yellow jersey. Domestiques' support is crucial for aspiring Rouleur heros!

BENEFITS: Enhance your endurance and ability to withstand peloton surges with sweetspot intervals and above threshold accelerations.

Stage 2 - Rouleur Challenger

30 mins

Stage 2 features a flat and high-speed course with 7 prime spots for sprinter attacks, culminating in a short all-out sprint to the finish line.

BENEFITS: Enhance your threshold pace with de-escalating power intervals that have you working in threshold and VO2 Max intensity.

Stage 3 - Sprinters Delight

30 mins

Stage 3 offers a flat course lacking significant challenges, indicating a probable bunch sprint finale.

BENEFITS: This session enhances endurance stamina and helps you stay with the peloton during surges, preventing drops and the constant struggle to maintain speed.

Stage 4 - breakaway attacker

30 mins

Stage 4 presents numerous surprises with frequent peloton surges in the small villages, leading up to a category 1 hill top finish.


BENEFITS: Improve threshold pace and resilience to peloton surges with unders and overs intervals where you will work at sweetspot, FTP score and top end of your threshold.

Stage 5 - PYRAMID GOAT

30 mins

Stage 5, the Queens stage, is the ultimate mountain challenge where GC contenders vie for the yellow jersey and pure climbers aim for the polka dot jersey. A long hors category climb awaits.

BENEFITS: Boost your climbing power and stamina with one long 25-minute climb consisting of repeated efforts at sweetspot, using heavy resistance and zone 2 efforts. 

Stage 6 - Puncheur Climber

30 mins

Stage 6 is a climbing stage featuring multiple shorter category 2 and 3 climbs. Listen carefully to the director sportif's instructions in this stage. Remember, fortune favours the brave.

BENEFITS: A series of short punchy climbs designed to improve your climbing strength and muscular power. As the gradient increases so does the power with a punchy acceleration to finish.

Stage  7 - ENDURANCE RACER

30 mins

Get ready for a stage filled with non-stop action, as riders battle for positioning and search for breakaway opportunities.



BENEFITS: Enhance your endurance stamina, recovery, and capacity to handle threshold and VO2 max power accelerations.

Frequently Asked Questions

An indoor trainer (All require a road bike to connect; some work with the rear wheel in and others work on a drive train system without rear wheel. Examples include Wahoo Kickr V5 or Core, Tacx Neo or Flux and Elite Suito to name a few. Alternatively, you can complete the remote challenge on an indoor bike that can project cadence and power (same applies for the indoor trainer). Examples include Wattbike Atom, Wattbike Nucleus, Wattbike Trainer/Pro and Wahoo Indoor bike, etc.  A Peloton Indoor bike will not work as their data is protected unless you put power pedals on their indoor bike.

You will also need a laptop or tablet to download the remote software, ANT+ receiver, comfortable cycling kit, water bottle, heart rate strap and a sweat towel.

Our Le Petite Tour de Njinga challenge is suitable for riders of all levels as you will be riding to your own training zones in the sessions.

We use training software that allows you to monitor your real time power or power to weight data during any timed intervals within a training session. This enables you to accurately track your progress by setting precise benchmarks to maintain and improve upon.

The immersive replay sessions allow you to complete your sessions at a time that suits you. Your LIVE rider stats will slot into the immersive leaderboard as if you are doing the session live with other riders. This allows you to still be able to "ride against" other riders in a group on the challenge, giving you the motivation to stay focused and working hard while being pushed by others.
