TESTIMONIALS
Hear from others on how they overcame their motivational barriers

"IT DOES NOT MATTER HOW YOU COMPARE TO OTHERS."

"It has not been a straight-line trajectory in achieving my goals but in the end I did it! The thing about this programme is just setting yourself goals whatever they are. Your goals and aspirations are yours and yours alone, it really does not matter how you compare to others, but boy, when you manage to achieve them you feel really satisfied!

The Train Smarter Climb Faster Programme delivers on all levels. Having a progressive schedule to stick to with benchmark testing at the beginning, middle and end means you stay motivated. The different variety of the exercises and following Togo on the videos each day, keeps you honest and committed."

"BOOSTED MOTIVATION TO TRAIN AT HOME."

"Really inspirational. It's hard to motivate people from their lounge but you did it! Great online option for training and it means you can stay connected even when you don’t have lots of time to train. Already saw improvements after just 1 month. The programme is really inclusive with those pushing big power outputs as welcome as those trying to get better on the bike and just not sure how."

- Sally, on how our online programmes boosted motivation

"GRADUAL PROGRESS KEPT ME MOTIVATED."

"Progress is not a straight line upwards. Gradual progress, even though it was uneven, helped me stay motivated and believe that I could do it. The Climbing Programme made a difference to my strength and stability that I could really feel. I worked hard and it was worth every bit of sweat. The coaching was motivating and just what I needed. I’m not going to stop now!"

- Harvey Gallagher, on completing our 30-Day Foundation Programme in June 2020 and Climb Like a Pro in 8 Week in August 2020

"POSITIVE MINDSET HELPED ME SMASH MY HILL REPS."

"Not every day is a “yay let’s go ride” day and today was one of my “I don’t feel like it, have had very little sleep, should I really go” kind of days. I was very close to talking myself out of going for a ride but then thought about my 'I am legacy statement'. "I am strong so I kept saying to myself I can do it and I know I will feel better afterwards."

The first 10km was all about why am I doing this, I’m not cycling well, should have stayed in etc etc. But then! Second legacy statement, I am kind and this applies to being kind to myself as well so had a little chat and said it’s fine, I can go easier and let’s just push when I get to the hill. To boost my mood I smiled to everyone (even the super focus riders 😂) and overall just decided this ride is going to be positive. Result - Tiny bit faster average speed, lower average heart rate and I smashed my hill reps!"

- Marit Sormus, on using mind set techniques introduced during the 30 Day Foundation Programme in June 2020

"ITS YOUR MIND THAT POWERS YOU ALONG."

"Although it’s your legs that pedal the bike, it’s your mind that powers you along. I'm thankful for the reminder of self-belief that this programme has given me."

- Fiona Inskip, on the self belief our 30-Day Foundation Programme restored
