OUR COVID-19 LAB PROTOCOL

We are super excited to welcome you back to The Lab from Monday 17th May to start training together again. Things will however look slightly different to how you remember as we have introduced a number of new procedures as our number 1 priority is to make sure you and your fellow riders are kept as Covid-19 safe as possible

We are following all the guidelines that have been put in place by our Governing body UK ACTIVE. We hope these rules will be reduced again on Monday 21st June but in the meantime, please read the below carefully so you understand what you need to do when attending The Lab.

We appreciate all your support and cooperation in helping to keep The Lab a comfortable and Covid safe place to be.

GENERAL POLICIES AND COMPLIANCE

LAB SESSION SIZES

We have greatly reduced session sizes from 14 to 6 to ensure adequate social distancing between the bikes. Each bike will be marked off and we encourage you to "stay in your square" as much as possible. You MUST book into a session to reserve your spot.

MASK WEARING

All riders are required to wear a face mask when entering and moving around The Lab. This is not necessary during the actual session. The instructor will however wear a face shield at all times.

SANITISING

All riders are required to sanitise their hands on arrival. There will also be sanitiser stations around The Lab so please refrain from touching too many areas and if you do, sanitise afterwards. Each bike will have it's own cleaning station, with Covid-19 approved cleaning products. Please wipe the bikes down properly after each use and if you feel more comfortable, give it a wipe down before getting on.  We will also be completing regular daily cleaning of the facilities, with extra attention paid to main touch points.

FLOW OF TRAFFIC

We have introduced a one way flow of traffic. On arrival please head straight to your bike area to get set up. Once your session is finished we ask that you please leave via the backdoor and out the side gate.

EXTRA SIGNAGE

There will be plenty of new signs and floor markings in The Lab to make it easy for you to navigate your way around safely. We ask that you adhere to these signs to ensure social distancing at all times for your and your fellow Njinga riders' safety.

LAB CHANGING ROOMS

Our changing rooms are unfortunately out of action at the moment. We ask that you please arrive in your training kit ready to train. We have added extra hooks around The Lab and near your bike stations to hang up coats and other extra layers.

TEMPERATURE CHECKS

On arrival everyone will get their temperature checked. Please take responsibility for your own health and of your fellow riders and if you feel sick at any point prior to the session, please cancel.

TRACKING

To ensure we comply with Track and Trace, please make sure you scan in on arrival. We will also be checking you into each session if we do need to get hold of you (hopefully not). Please therefore make sure your contact information is correct and up-to-date in your account.

VENTILATION

We are following government guidelines in terms of ventilation and required capacity numbers. We will also ensure both front and back doors and windows are kept open to maintain consistent fresh air.
